Panama City is a multicultural place, with large populations from many different parts of the world. The Panamanians show very little discrimination based on race or religion. This in part is due to the canal which has brought people from all over the world to this tiny country. Panamanians are for the most part friendly and helpful unless they are behind the wheel of a car. Traffic in the city is terrible and drivers obey no laws. It is said honking horns is the Panamanian national anthem.
