Casco Viejo is my favorite area for hanging out and taking photos. It is a World Heritage Site with beautiful old buildings that are now being restored. The contrast between the restored and unrestoredis striking. It has a wide variety of architecture ranging from Spanish, French colonial, Art Deco and neoclassical. Now it is afashionable area with great bars, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and hotels. With its narrow brick streets, churchs and cafes, plazas and cafes its a great place to walk around.
